Description: Which will save you more money: A closer gas station with more expensive gas, or a farther gas station with cheaper gas? Just provide the number of liters your car needs, your car's mileage (KPL), the added distance to the far station, and the price per liter of both the expensive near gas and the cheap far gas. This calculator will then tell you how much you'll save with the farther gas (assuming this is a positive number!). What happens if the gas price goes up at that further station, you find you need less gas, or you have to take a detour? No problem! This calculator will also tell you the maximum price per liter to pay, the minimum number of liters you should add, and the maximum distance to travel for the trip to remain worthwhile.
